Using a standard DB9 connector and powered from the USB port, RS232 converter can be used with PVSS unit to provide a COM port which is capable of communication rates with RS232 devices, from 300 Baud up to 250k Baud, such as GPS, USBL, Sonar or underwater positioning systems.
